Holiday Make & Take Workshop: Wood Ornaments/Wood Slice Art (All Materials Included)

Time is ticking! Don’t miss our Holiday Make & Take Workshop where you can create a festive ornament or wood slice art. From cheerful phrases to fun characters, and grumpy Grinches to memorable keepsakes; don’t miss your chance to create a timeless gift for that special family member, teacher, holiday party host, friend, or yourself!

In this hands-on experience, adults and kids (aged 5+) will be directed through the design and painting process to create their wood art. Participants will have the choice to use the provided designs or create their own.

All materials are provided – just bring yourself! Each participant will receive one wood slice, acrylic paint, palette, two paint brushes, and hanging string to use during the class and keep. Additional wood slices will be available for purchase during the class if you would like to create more than one (cash or Venmo only).

Other Details: One ticket includes one kit. Adults accompanying children do not need to purchase a separate ticket, unless they would like to participate too. About the Instructor:

Tara Aiken is a Minnesota-based professional street painter and chalk artist, known for her captivating and realistic creations. She discovered her passion for chalk art during the pandemic and her creations quickly gained recognition. She has since participated in multiple chalk and street painting festivals. With over 15 years of experience in learning and instructional design, Tara creates engaging and effective learning experiences, where participants not only learn the techniques and skills of art but also develop a deeper appreciation for the creative process.
